Champions03 Foundation

Supporting
rugby players
beyond the game.

For many players, the end of a career is not a defined moment, but a gradual shift away from the routine, identity, and structure that have shaped their lives for years.

Champions03 exists to support that transition, ensuring professional rugby players don’t just survive after the game, but have the opportunity to thrive beyond it.

Overview

The Champions 03
foundation.

In 2025, Champions03 established the Champions 2003 Foundation to deliver structured programmes supporting players as they transition out of professional rugby.

The Foundation funds targeted programmes designed to help players navigate life beyond rugby, supporting career development, wellbeing, and long-term stability after the game.

The origin

The squad
reunited.

In 2023, the 2003 squad reunited for the first time in 20 years.

What began as a reunion highlighted a shared reality: many players had experienced the difficulty of leaving the game without structured support.

That moment became the foundation for everything that followed.

Champions03 was built in response to that, not just for the 31, but for the players who come after them.
